Since I can't go to the gym as they are all closed I thought I'd try and do some weights at home

I've got most everything I need except a barbell. And they're out of stock everywhere now.

But..... I have got some lenghts of this in the garden:

I'm a weakling so the most weight I'd ever put on each side would be 20-25kg.

So if I cut it to desired length and found a way to fix some weights on it each end (suggestions please if you have any!) it could be used for this purpose right? Or is it too thin/weak for such a re-purposing?

Thanks

A 3 metre length weighs 825 grams.
That's quality there.
Fit for purposes - protecting electrical cables.

I wouldn't put 40 or 50 kg's on it, bench press and expect to live.

Find somewhere you can get solid bar from.

Dang

I just hung from one and then stood on top of one and it supported my weight but I suppose that doesn't mean it couldn't just snap I guess

Found a place that will do me a 25mm solid length of stainless, 2 meters around 8kg, that sounds sufficiently strong yeah?
