Job one probably 2 hours so about £75 maximum (labour)

Job two probably an hour (£50 max). If it requires a drain down then 1/2 day (usually £100).

Price usually depends on how nice the customer is though!

Yerbutt you can do taps and wastes whilst system is draining. I would expect half a day if I was paying. ;)

Hi Phil I would charge this as one days work So how much do you think a days work is worth to you
and how desperate are you for the work? Theres your incentive to finish early.. already some good pointers on here let us know if you get and take job and what you charged:)regards turnpin

both jobs somewhere between 1 and 2 hours. £60-£80 ish labour. parts extra. actual amount you charge depends on all sorts of little subtle factors that you only get the measure of when speaking to them and seeing the job.

single mother, tiny house, ummin and ahh'ing about costs is going to be slightly cheaper (to get the job - not for charitable purposes) than his and her's mercs parked outside and a general disinterest when you discuss prices.

estimate how long its going to take you, add an hour or 2 on to cover yourself, work out your hourly rate and multiply it by the number of hours and add a little percentage onto final price for profit, 5% or something.

his and her's mercs parked outside and a general disinterest when you discuss prices.

Usually find that these types are the worst. They're usually financed to the eyeballs, and expect you to be grateful for a few crumbs. Little old ladies are usually the best. Will usually bend over backwards for them.

well ive started the first of the jobs and ive had to do it at intetvals because the occupiers want me to do it at 5 in the evening and theyve got to go out in an hour and i had to get a flexi waste and i had to check with the owners is it ok to install taps or repair, anyway thank you all for your responses i will get back to you how long it takes and how much i charge cheers

not if you were desperate for work you wouldn't - which, from phil's previous posts, i believe he is.
