Evening fellas,
Cut a long story short... I powerflushed a system a few weeks back that had an aerjec fitted....i explained to the custurd that these normally cause more probs than they are good so i cut it out and inserted a open vent and cold feed in this config
flow from boiler>>>>>vent>>>>cold feed (within 150mm)>>>>pump>>>
today the custurd called me to say that he keeps on having to bleed air out of the system and wants an aerjec installed and new pipe config removed!!
I did take quite alot of sludge out of the system on the day and he was happy with the results. I think that beings as the f & e tank is only at head height (no loft to put it in) has something to do with it drawing in air....would combining the cf and ov solve this problem? or shall i just bite the bullet and do whats he's asking??
any advice would be a help!!
