Good morning all; a Happy New Year to everyone.

A (probably silly) question . I am in the middle of a large renovation project in France and, whilst working on the houses, am living in a caravan. I have a regulator fitted to a French propane gas bottle for my cooking. I go to France about six times a year for a month at a time (ish). Almost every time I go back I find that the regulator has stopped working. Have tried everything I can think of but to no avail. I turn off the regulator and store inside in clean dry conditions. Almost every time now I have to go out and buy a new (best quality I can find, Italian I think) regulator (I have seven now!!) at around £25 a time.

Any ideas would be very welcome
