Protecting polyplumb pipework chased into solid floor.

I'm chasing solid floor and inserting 22mm grey polyplumb pipe for central heating. Any advice on what I use to protect the pipe from screed? Do I use the grey climaflex sponge type insulating material used for copper pipe ? If so, with 22mm pipework, the chasing would have to be so much deeper.

You won't need to protect it from the screed as its the same pipe as they use for underfloor heating but you should insulate it for heat loss plus no joints in the screed
