Public Liability Insurance

Can any plums tell me the best insurance so i can play knowing if any thing happens
the other person get a shed load of money/repairs done.

i have quotes from 250 zurich to 500

See the thread about insurance. You need to check the small print. The cheaper ones will only cover you for the bare minimum, excesss will be higher (the difference between a £100 and £1,000 excess can be a couple of hundred difference on your insurance charge). Some policies don't insure for hot work (yes I have been offered tradesmens insurance which didn't!) and cover for tools can vary - from only covered at home, not covered in van, not covered on site.

Tools cover from £1000 to £5000 can have a huge difference on cost.

If you actually compare like for like you won't find much difference. For the fullest cover I use NFU Mutual. A colleague uses BIB.
