I'm thinking of including the following information on my website, do you think it is a good idea?

I think I've covered my self by stating that they are only to be used as a guide. Should I quote even cheaper prices, just to make them get in touch?

Gas Prices
Our prices start from:
Boiler Service - £45.00
Back Boiler Service - £65.00
Gas Fire Service – £50.00
Gas Cooker Safety Check - £35.00
Disconnect Cooker/hob - £40.00
Gas Cooker Installation - £60.00
Landlords Safety Check - £90.00 (Boiler + Cooker + Fire)
Breakdowns/Repair to Gas Appliance - from £50 + Parts
Gas Fire Installation – From £95
Supply & Fit 22mm Magnaclean/Sentinel Filter - £160
Replacement Radiator £90.00ˆ (Labour) for one (50% discount on labour on each additional radiator*)
Radiator Valve Change – From £20/Valve
ˆReplacement Radiator must be of same size, additional changes/pipework not included in price.
*Must be done on same visit.
All above prices to be used as a guide only, actual price may vary depending on individual circumstances.
Please enquire about any other services.

Could bite you in the bum if you have custards who you give a ridiculous price to because you don't want to work for them

i would say those prices are fine, the one that seems the most to me is the landlord certificate, i would charge £70 for a boiler/cooker/fire.

prices are near enough the same as mine, I wouldnt advertise cheaper then when the tight arse customer gets the bill they would be "BUT YOU SAID!!!" and so on

Hmm, yeah I think advertising lower prices will give me more trouble then its worth.

I'll stick with the prices, but I'll have to explain to customers why there final bill is different.

I'll see how it goes and if its giving me alot of trouble, I'll pull it off the site.

Replacement rad £90, I've got a 2000mm X 900mm double needing replacement straight swap when can you do it?

hope you dont mind, but, i am dropping my prices to £5 below yours!!!!!!!

You've got it covered on your second line 'prices from'.

You could always add 'subject to site inspection'.

A good list though.

I would advise against broadcasting your prices. Your local competitors will only undercut you.You will gain no advantage by publishing your prices online But that's only my advice.
