We've got an old Glow Worm 40 BR Mk 2 boiler, when both stats stop calling for heat the boiler & pump stop together then after a few seconds the pump goes into overrun mode, which is to late as the residual heat in exchanger has boiled the water and caused horrific banging. Is there an overrun sensor on the boiler that could be changed?
