Hi there, can i connect a pump straight to the existing supply under the bath i.e off the hot and cold then reconnect back to the tap/mixer? Or does it need a different supply? Just concerned as to where to run pipes? dont really want to lift up floors? many thanks....

Follow the manufacturers recommendations for the shower pump. Most. if not all, will want a dedicated feed from the cold cistern and an air free feed from the cylinder.

If you have a gravity fed system it might be easier to fit one these:-

Aqualisa Aquastream Thermostatic Power Shower White & Chrome - Aqualisa available at Plumbworld

Will deliver up to 18 lts a minute (more than many of the cheaper pumps) and will probably last as long, if not longer, and parts are readily available. The aquastream is also low voltage for added safety and ease of fitting. Also has a 3 year warranty

Grundfos do a low voltage separate pump (which would be my choice for locating under a bath) and they have a technical helpline - the number is on this link:-
