Hi anyone up to speed on pump sizing.
a job I'm pricing has been specified with two pumps.
One for heating ( twin head) the spec is0.803kg/s 82kpa. .???
one for secondary circuit. ( single head) 0.050kg/s 20kpa.

I have no idea what those figures mean. They were meant to be specifying the exact models.
the pump manufacturer is nit specified. The heating one needs to be 1 1/2 inch.

Cheers

kilo pascals

heating 0.82 bar (11.82 psi)

8.36m of head

hot water 0.20 bar (2.90 psi)

2.03m of head

does it spec flow rate?

9.81 (10) kpa = 1m of head
1kg/s = 3.6m3h

Look up a pump graph from any manu and it will tell you if it will do.
