Hope someone can help. I have been asked about a property on the 7 floor that after some works to main outside, now has no pressure to flat. Now as far as i know you are not allowed to pump mains water but client tells me there used to be one. Can anyone enlighten me! Cheers Zen
 
No you can not pump the mains,you would have to feed the mains to a tank and pump from the tank
If I had a proverbial for every time I say something to a customer and they say, well we used to have one, it use to work like that, we never have had a problem before I would be a rich man
And in this case if one was put on you would defiantly pinch the other flats meager supply and find yourself in big bother brother
After saying that it is possible that there is some sort of communal pumping system to the block of flats that was turned off whilst works to main was carried out and has not been turned back on yet
