Hi, I have a push flush toilet with a WDI float valve.
The last couple of days it keeps on filling into the over flow, and only cuts off after about 5 minutes.
Tonight it seems to not be stopping, and I can't work out how to adjust it so it cuts off lower than the overflow.

Is this something easy to adjust or do I need to call a plumber.

Any help much appreciated!

Do you have an isolator valve under the toilet. If so use a flat bladed screwdriver to turn the slotted screw in the isolated 90 degrees until the water stops.

I think the diaphram washer might have failed. These valves are available in screwfix so they may sell replacement diaphram washers

As Paul plumb said you need to isolate but your fill valve may require replacement
If you do replace I would recommend a fluidmaster pro 45b with brass shank
Good luck

Thanks both for the reply. I've managed to isolated it and will look into it at the weekend.

Thanks again.
