Hi,

I have a Baxi Duo-tec combi 28 HE and I am having problems with the pressure being way too high.

An image of the pressure:

Now I am unsure whether or not someone in my house has messed with the valves to increase the pressure and I was hoping if somebody could point out whether the valves are closed (so the pressure doesn't keep going up).

Also if someone can explain how to decrease the pressure back to optimal levels that would be great!

Here are a few image that may help.

turn the boiler off, unsure its cold,go to a radiator with a vent key, bleed water into a container until the gauge hits 1 to 1.2 bar or in the green triangle section,if it rises back up to 3 when the boilers working you need to call some one in,if not then someones accidentally put water in,as per your suspicions

I'll definitely do this tomorrow morning, in the pictures does it seem like the valves are open to let water in?

Probably easier to lose pressure from the bottom of the TF1 filter directly below the boiler.

The lowest red valve?

EDIT: Oh did you mean the pointy end of the TF1 Filter.

EDIT2: Got 3 pictures of it.

Yes the black unscrew cap in the bottom also acts as a tool to open the valve...

The lid on the filter is leaking, but probably caused by the over pressurised heating!
