I have 6 x 3m lengths of 52mm copper tubing and an assortment of 52mm end feed and compression fittings. Not desperate to sell as it's my stock, but if someone near York needs any I can do them for 75% of the current retail price, whatever that is,

You should keep them. You may need to buy them again at some point for twice the price.

Years back i had a girl from Ticki tape ring to ask if i would buy some tapes. Usual how much, no, don' t think so. She then said if you can take 10'000 rolls of ptfe i can do them at 2p...quick sum in the head £200... right i'll take them.
For years i would look at all the boxes of ptfe and think i'd never use them all. Used the last ones about 2 month ago!

Tamz, that ptfe story is a cracker. True scotsman to do the maths on that!

true scotsman would have realised they had made 100% pure profit ha ha:):)regards turnpin still a great bargain bet you wont see that again!

They lasted me nearly 9 years. Turned out a good deal. I really grudge paying 26 pence a roll from the merchants now. Robbing b......s!
I wish the lassie from Ticky tape would ring me back but i never heard from her again. She probably got her jotters for selling them too cheap:eek::D

Were they the little metal spools you used to get?
