Basically I'm looking for someone to come and work for me because I’m knockingback customers that I don’t have the time for.

Ideally I wouldlike to give someone a trial, stick them in the van fully kitted out so I cantake a step back and concentrate on pushing the business forward, then take onanother lad etc etc.

Must have NVQ2as a minimum, Full UK license, relevant experience, smart appearance, preferably gas safe (although not essential!), own tools would be an advantage.

Work willinclude:

Full heatinginstallations

Boiler installations

Gas safetycertificates

Servicing/breakdownsand repairs

Possiblybathrooms

Generalplumbing jobs like fixing leaks etc

Hope there issomeone out there that might be able to help/point me in the right direction –have tried job centre and all the other job sites and have had no luck! Thoughit was scarce times for plumbers!

msg me on here

Cheers guys.

I have considered the same thing but think seriously about it and:

1. anybody worth employing would want £200-£250 a day meaning your profit margin will be low.
2. anybody who is cheap will be rubbish
3. you will still need to work to train the person to your standard, make extra money and be able to employ more people.
4. what happens if the current busy spell goes quiet again.
5. most plumbers either trained via a training centre with the thought of going self employed or are already working for a company that pay a lot better then you will offer as they know a good thing when they see it.

So can you charge customers £350-£400 a day and still be busy?
if so, go and get a plumber, if not, you are looking at an apprentice

For the type of work you need to pass on to your new employee I'd say that being GSR'd is essential or you still might end up knocking most of the work back.
