In 2010 I had a Vokera Unica 36HE installed. Within the last 6 months I have needed to call out an Engineer twice for the same fault - the flow temperature was too high. The temperature differential was too high resulting in the engineer on both occasions having to replace the Thermistors. The last engineer made the comment that if the problem arose again it was probably a problem with the central heating system and not the boiler. He said it could be that the water wasn't flowing fast enough through the boiler. I don't believe this is the problem because it has only occurred in the last 6 months and nothing similar has happened over the previous 3 years it has been running.

Has anyone out there encountered a similar problem and if so how did they resolve it?

I must stress I am not looking to repair the boiler myself, I would just like some alternative opinions on this problem.

Hi was it the original installer who came out to look at the issue? Or was it a vokera engineer?

Neither, the person who came out to look at the boiler when it went off was from the people we have our insurance contract with which is Domestic and General they sent the engineer out. It was not the person who installed the boiler.
