I have a long-standing customer whom I dont want to loose. I dont normally fit boilers but in this case, I might have to. She has an old noisey Baxi Solo boiler (from memory 18kw) that wants replacing before the kitchen gets done out. As its to be re-sited onto a bedroom wall, she wants it to be ultra quiet. What is the quietest system boilers out there? G.

If she's ripping out the kitchen could you not take down the plasterboard and insulate behind it to reduce the noise?

She wants a totally new boiler installed. This one has been a money pit for her recently.

I find a Vaillant ecotec plus and ideal vogue to be extremely quiet

Aye I get that but at least if you insulate behind the boiler area you're not limiting your choice of boiler

Atag would get my vote, I find the Vogue very noisy at max rate.

Intergas are the quietest boiler i have come across.

Cant even tell its running with your ear to the case.
We put one in a cellar and i had to keep running up the steps to look at the flue to check it was running.
