Who here knows what the 5 catorgarys of water regulations are without looking it up on the net?

i was just thinking this the other day how many people knew at work.prob not even half.

I think so ...

1, 2, 3, 4 and 5!

Can't remember the names but something along the lines of:

Potable
Stored
Slightly soapy
Soiled and industrial
Heavily contaminated, excrement

Back to school if I've got these wrong :)

you have numbered the 5 fluid catorgarys.
what i ment was the water supply (water fittings) regulation 1999
ie misuse
just another 4 .

is this a college question? or just a curious one?

i would guess some of the answers as

lead free soldered fitting. removal of lead pipes
correct jointing pastes ie boss green
en/bs rated fittings
type/material of water tank storage
quality of mains water

??
let me know how i done

contamination
Erroneous measurement
misuse
undue consumption
waste

well done mate i thought there would of been more people guessing

no not a college question just a question for you all

Interestingly, I don't think many Plumbers answer questions in a set form usually.
Most seem to tell, by looking at the job, whether its right or not.
Because I suppose by looking at the actual job, this gives them a picture clue as to what may be wrong. A bit like doing one of those spot the difference puzzles you sometimes find in magazines.

If for instance you seen an incoming water main with out a stopcock or drain off, you'd know it was wrong, but would probably have to look up the answer to find which exact water reg it contravened. :):):):)
