Quick question guys/gals. Kudox rads, how much to add to the width of the rad for the pipe centres? 90mm for a lockshield and TRV set? Not normal for me to first fix without rads there so would appreciate advice from those who do it regularly. Thanks!

seems reasonable, tis what I do, and drill a 22mm hole in the floor, allows for movement :)

I normally go for 85mm on top of the rad width for the pipe centres. If the lockshield is a 3/4 union tail then it is less.

yes depending on any movement, lots or non ? personally I wouldn't first fix them without them been on the wall or at least in front of me, loads of play, you would get away with it.

im with tamz 80 mm above rad size 75mm from plasterboard its not very often there is a wall or even floor present so a sharp chisel at 2nd fix stage and slag off the joiners for drilling holes in wrong places and putting partitions in wrong place or it could have been me roughing out on a Monday morning putting pipes in wrong places which of course I would never admit to..brum
