Hi All,
I am new to this forum and wanted advise on this situation
We recently refurbished our house including installing a new combi boiler and radiators. Our plumber has decided to install a drainage valve in the hallway to our nice looking radiator without asking if we would want it somewhere else. When I asked what it was and if it could be moved to the next room he said I will need to pay for it as it always gets installed in the hallway. There is a dowstairs study which is similar distance from the main door.
I have attached some pictures of the finish. I was planning to cover the copper pipes with black covers but cannot unless I move this.
Kind Regards,
Ryan

- Am I at fault here or should he have asked where I need it installed?
- He put it on the copper pipe (see pictures). If he had to install it in the hallways should he have not finished it better by fitting a radiator valve with drainage?
