Radiator pipework height ???

Hi guys,
We're just finishing off a living room after knocking through to give us more space.
Plasterer is coming in the next few days to board the walls, and I have dropped 2 legs down the wall for the flow and return for the new rad that will be going in.
My question is, at what height do I set the pipework out of the wall for the rad?
I'm currently about 12" from the floor with just stop ends on, but not sure what height you come through the plasterboard.

Any advice from you learned gents (and ladies) very gratefully received.

I like to finish rads about 30mm above the skirting board, ( think stelrad suggest 150mm from floor for airflow but I always set to skirting as it looks better ) so look at a rad spec sheet for the height of the centre of the tapping above the bottom of the rad, but it's a bout 30mm as well

150mm from floor to bottom of rad also for me but only higher if very high skirtings or with a bottom connection rad or towel rail with straight valves.
The large depth of modern convector rads makes the radiator appear too low if you fit it much below about 135mm & especially if there is a carpet fitted later.

A bit more info,
I've done the drops in 15mm copper, and roughly in the centre of the new rad.
If I bring the pipes out at 150mm, will I be able to get elbows on without fouling the back of the rad?

Why don't you bring them out straight into the valves?

50mm above finished skirting height and length of new radiator plus 90mm for the pipe centres.
