Hello,
I’m hoping for some advice on how to proceed with changing a Single 500 x 600 radiator for a Double 500 x 700 in my bathroom.

Where I’m stuck is with the existing copper pipework, it only extends through the tiled wall 50mm and I need another 20mm or so for the double
.

The existing rad has right angled Lockshields either end no TVR.

What I thought I should be looking for was a Lockshield with a longer section on the compression end but as far as I can see no such thing exists, probably for good reason.

So I’m wondering if using a straight couplers to the Lockshields is the right way to go. And if so, any recommendations i.e. push fit, plastic or copper?

I searched for an answer to this without finding one, but apologies if I missed it,

Thank you in advance for any help offered!

Personally you need two neat copper joints mate in that distance . Push fit or compression would look the pits.

Agreed. As well as both comp and pushfit being longer than end feed so you'd have the cut the pipework back, leaving zero margin for error...
