Hello Friends

I have a room approx 12' x 13' an dneed to fit a new rad.

Do you think a 600 x 1200 double panel will be OK?

I changed my daughters bedroom one last year, her room is a little bigger not much, I put a 500 x 1400 and it's nice and toasty for her!

Responses and advice always gratefully received.

Best wishes to all, wrap up warm chaps.

If you go to traderadiators website you will find a chart to complete which will calculate the BTU output required for the room. Match this up with the output shown in the radiator spec.

If you have the extra space, & if it suits the space visually, my advice is go slightly bigger than what output is calculated if you can afford a few more pounds.
Especially on living rooms & all ground floor or North facing rooms. TRVs do the job of stopping room overheating.

rule of thumb way
5 btus per cubic foot of room space
12x13=157
hieght at average 8ft
8x157=1256
1250x5=6280btusthis is for a living room so less would do for a bedroom
