radiator specifications

can anyone please tell me what the specifications are for fitting a rad to a partition wall and how you would do it

Have done this loads.
Depending on how big the rad is of course.
Try to get at least a few of the fixings into part of the timber framework(assuming timber, not metal).

Also use heavy duty dry wall fixings, either the toggle type, or the ones that expand as you screw the screw in.Also if it is a lightish rad, then the self drilling fixings I have used with good results.
