In need of a radiator 1430 long , i maybe wrong but think this is an awkward size anyone know where i can get one this long as really can't be bothered to alter pipes .

Its a k1 rad

Ask Ray, he may be able to help you. Failing that, get 1400, then use extended radiator tails.

To get the rad size you mentioned will be difficult and if you do get it, it will be expensive.

IN my opinion 15mm extention either side won't really be noticed

Just so you know, Ray stocks them as well. Think I bought some of him in Feb? Can't remember???

Myson premier do a 1454 long rad if you have any give in the other direction, other than that I think its 1400 and an extension.

Myson imperial sizes do a 57 inch long rad which must be in metric about 1430 long.
I measure the pipe centres as some rads have not the threads out to the edges

a drayton radiator tail with drain off will add 20-30mm to one side.

I used a pair of the screwfix telescopic tails a couple of weeks ago, no problems yet!

I gave them a whirl on gravity heating in a bungalow, don't think I'd trust them on anything pressurised. I was in a bind and it was a Friday afternoon with 10mm pipe coming up through laminate with the freeze kit on it. No way was that beggar getting drained and messed with.
