got a job on tomorrow womens wants a few rads removed for decorating how many can i remove at any one time for her to still use the heating

if a combi turn ch stat to min then just one rad can be left working, but fit caps on the valves as they often pass, obviously boiler needs to be isolated before removing anything

Is this a trick question?

I reckon it's all apart from one for the safety aspect. Then the house won't be very warm. Remember if removing lots you'll need to put inhibitor in the system on re-fill. And if they're dirty, why not flush them out with a hosepipe too?

Amazing how many customers are surprised you can still use the heating even if theres only one rad off.

dunno wont know until i get there tomorrow, i think its 2 she wants of, i didnt take the call, ive got to take them off and go back there again to replace
