While your spending hours in the van in traffic, just as much time on your knees (leave that to your imagination), crawling around the loft space, in your pump room.

What do you listen to?

Are you a Chris Moiles fanatic, do you while away the hours listening to the Archers?

If you've got an apprentice do you argue over whats on in the van?

OR

If he's/she's worked hard do you let them listen to a station of there choice?

Nothing at all a radio is another form of distraction, when you need all your attention on driving

Mate,

When I'm on my way to Bluewater or Lakeside, being forced there at Gunpoint by my lovely gorgeous partner to look at shoes, handbag and an outfit to go with it all I'll take any distraction........

chris moyles till 10 on radio 1
pop quiz on radio2 at 10.30
jeremy vine 12 till 2 on radio2

then not really bothered, have been getting into the archers lately on r4!

as said on 95.8 fm some years ago you don't find a plumber under a ton in a astra van

i was sitting in my red astra with the radio on

im an apprentice, we have heart on, because my boss cant handle all that boom boom pow as he'd put it

Well I dont heave a heart, either it or you would go out the window, a radio is a distraction when working, and that includes on the tools or driving

Yeah can always tell the young uns coming through, apprentices have tinny mobile speakers screaching happy hardcore with MC banging on, and the lads starting to get a wage after a cople of years of apprenticeship the favourite Dewalt radio on full blast so no one can think tuned into Galaxy with Basshunter spewing out..Just as well shockproof as straight out the window with those yellow boxes - ha!

Funny reading Plousne's reply above, I thought it was only me that doesn't have a radio on when working as it is a distraction. In my mind I'm either working or listening to the radio,,not both as I need to concentrate on what I'm doing,,maybe I'm just not very bright!!!
