Hi,

I have a problem with me heating working randomly, sometimes the radiators are nice and hot, sometimes just luke warm. When its warm the pipes to the pump are also just luke warm.

Its a Potterton Suprima boiler with a Wilo Smart pump that I've recently replaced. If i vent the pump sometimes I get instant hot pipes to the pump and then nice hot rads, othertimes I get hot pipes to the pump but only for a few seconds.

If I do nothing then it just starts working all by itself, but its a bit random, you never know if you are going to wake up to a warm or cold house.

I've tried leaving the heating on constant when its working but when i get up the next day i have luke rads again.

Any suggestions? Could it be a faulty pump? I sounds like its running ok but when the rads are luke it doesnt sound the same as when the rads are hot.

Thanks
