I fitted my first (and possibly the last) yesterday. But the boiler isnt working properly. It fires up for heating for about 10ses the pipe get v hot and it then cuts out. After checking everything I could think of i came to the conclusion its a problem with the pump as the problem seems to be a lack of flow.
Has anyone else experienced similar problems with this boiler?

Thanks in advance

Call Ravenheat's technical helpline, they are pretty helpful and should point you in the right direction.

I dd ring the tech help and they said its the pump. I did try to unsieze it yesterday but I mustnt have tried hard enough. Cos I did the same again today and it worked. Awful awful boiler !!!

did you bleed the pump through before firing up the boiler iaw normal commissioning procedures, just connecting and firing can lead to major failures with some makes!

yeah I did bleed the pump and the heat exchanger at the top. The tech guy said they put some kind of grease on the pump and if left too long before being sold can lock the pump up. Not sure if I believe that tho.
