If anyone reading has any knowledge of the Rayburn 400 G PF, please give me some advice. My customer has a six year old model which isn't working. The PCB is sending 35 volts (DC) to the power flue. The power flue is not working, but as it shopuld only recieve 24 volts (DC), I am not really surprised. Rayburn technical help tell me it needs a new PCB, which I have been quoted £325 + VAT for, plus a fan at £85 + VAT; so not much change out of £500 for parts alone.
So the advice I want is, is it worth it; or is this model a load of rubbish which my customer would be well advised to get rid of. Your thoughts and comments please.
