Cooker side blower motor bearings run dry. If I lube them it will run for 24 hours then seize up again. What to use? I have tried clock oil, motorcycle chain lube and moly grease to no avail. They are sintered bearings so presumably they can be cleaned out and relubricated but how and with what? The central heating side works fine! I don't fancy £320 for a new motor.

Lubricating the bearings is a short-term fix, to get you out of trouble until new bearings can be sourced. You run the risk of burning the motor windings out if you continue to try and turn it over without success and then you will need a new motor. Bearings are cheap and with the right tools and knowhow shouldn't take to long to replace.

I reckon I can manage the replacement but had no idea it was even possible. It is only a matter of a few rivets after all. Where would I find new bearings please or do I just search generically?

Try HWOS, heating World of stairs. I'm not overly familiar with the MK 1 but bearings should be easily sourced.
