Update :

flue hole is 30mm higher then boiler elbow (flue hole is only 4")
no one clip under boiler
no sleeve on gas pipe
no earth
hissing noise coming from cheap radiator valves
no insulation on all pipe work under the floor

it only took 2 man 8 days to install boiler and 5 rads + towel rail
no gas leaks
flue is safe ( did a air intake test + combustion test )
installer was a joke filled up benchmark co/co2 and did not leave with customer print out
system has not been flushed nor inhibitor

poor install

one Q : gas mains raiser in the cupboard and they have build a frame around it to put boiler on it ...... is this allowed ?
frame is build with wood so no fire protected

8 days! Hah

fire protection only required if more than 1 storey above, so ifs its a standard 2 storey house it's not required to be fire protected.

Sorry not sure why I replied to that question with what I did! You mean the timber behind the boiler?

I dont see see any reason why it should be fire protected, after all the gas pipe is in and below the boiler also.

well at the moment i'm on the same time frame as them....with bronchitis !!!

So mains gas riser is ok to be boxed around with timber and hang on a boiler on that frame ? What if the frame gave a way and 100kg force is applied on the gas carcass ?

The requirement is for the boiler to be fixed securely. I've built timber framework in the past to hang boilers on but I know that mine have been over engineered. It's got to depend how well the framework is built.

She paid them monkeys 2,8k and now saying to me can I put on the list for rectifying the faults of the install new hallway rad (bigger) + new vves as the one she had fired Tower make hushing or hushing noice !
I need to give her a list of work and how much it will cost to put right : flue, pipes under boiler + hallway rad ch feed comes fo
the wall and is not been sleeved ! Basically ractyfying the faults of Micky mouse and his mate

What do you think the job would have cost to do properly?
If she paid £2800 and then pays you say £300 has she still got a cheap central heating install?

In London 3,5k min I think ! She will have to pay me £300 of labour + about £60 for materials and this will be me and my helper for a 1day ! But I is not registering the boiler unless I get extra for that and I don't mean £2.5

oh and I just remember + cost for chemicals for flushing system + hopefully every year boer service
