Recommendations on showers

I am getting close to building the walls for my new attic bathroom and thought i had better think about what shower i will be using in there.

Any idea what shower we should be going for. We dont want anything fancy like jets etc. All we want is a reliable and stylish shower unit with the normal head.

I would prefer to use a surface mounted unit so if it goes wrong we can change bits easily enough.

Whats is popular ?

This will run off the combi by the way.

grohe reliable but dear but if it was my house thats what i would fit and you will be able to get spares for it(if it goes wrong)in years to come

I would go for Bristan,indeed I did.as said any spares,you will always get and after sales second to none



use to like and use grohe however recently over last few years had a lot of problems with shower cartridges,especially when on combi's,maybe the very hot water hitting cartridge ?
