Red hot gas pipe !!!

Hi
I have a living flame gas fire fitted about 10 mth ago , the problem is when its been on for more than ten mins
The control knob gets super hot as does the gas supply pipe, surely this cant be right can it ?
Any help wud be appreciated

best to call a gas safe eng out and to double check everythings ok

No it's not, shouldn't get hot
Turn it off and get it checked

Yep. Turn off and call a fire registered (and experienced) RGI. Possibly a blocked flue
