I have been to my mates house tonight after he has been moaning about real low hot water pressure.

His pressure in kitchen tap is shocking, just a real slow run, his bath and basin pressure is also really low but not as low as I his kitchen.
I have come away really scratching my head as to why, the header tank is clear, ballvalve is working fine. The cold feed is good to the cylinder and the cylinder is producing hot water into a good clean 22mm pipe yetrecently the pressure has just gone!

Anyone got any advice for me on this one!?

Does the flow from the HOT WATER outlet fall completely? Had the same on a cylinder i fitted 12 months ago and last week the customer decided to start hanging towels on the pipework and had somehow bent the pipe down creating an airlock.

I've checked for a pigeon or something like, tank is clear.
It is all rigid pipe work to taps, checked iso valves aren't slightly off and it has got a good head of water.

This is why it's stumping me, all obvious causes are clear. I haven't checked the hot water leaving the cylinder, might give that a whirl today!
