Morning all,

I’ve got a couple Quinta pro heat exchangers to change in the coming days..

Completed a few successfully before however I always, always, always find them an absolute pig to remove without beating the case up and muttering a few hundred curse words
They’re lumpy bits of kit and I can’t help thinking why on Earth they didn’t make the case a mere few mill bigger to aid removal!

Any tips?

Nice little commercial boiler

Bottom sump got a hole in ?

Also the flue tube goes there fun to do but the built in light helps :D

As for tips normally strip everything out leaving just the hex you get a bit more space not mega

The light is a little bonus I suppose!

I usually try pry them off their little holders with a pair of 36 stilsons and the boiler being situated at a reasonable height is also a god send.
Luckily usually once they’re out they’re a doddle
