Removing cast iron soil pipe

Hi all,

I plan to replace the cast iron soil pipe on the outside of my house with plastic, but I was wondering if it's a job that's feasible from ladders or am I realistically looking at hiring scaffolding?

well it is a two man job
the differace between hiring good ladders and a small tower is not alot
I would advise hiring a tower if possible
make it pay ,check ,repair guttering also and any eves painting,ect at the same time
