Removing unused stack pipe

Hi,
Just wondering if the 4" stack pipe shown on the attached photo can be removed and capped at ground level?
The bathroom was originally upstairs and now relocated to downstairs with the waste plumbed directly into underground pipework.
Not sure whether this is still required for the underground system.

Probably not as it will be acting as the vent for the drains

It will depend on the existing plumbing.
If it's a main vent - then no - , but you could reduce it down to 50mm instead of 100mm.

Maybe just cut it off just above ground level and put a cap on it..
If it doesn't affect the rest of the drainage for a certain period of time, then permanently cap it off..

If it does, run a 50mm vent up the side of the building

Would a stub stack be ok for this.
I don't have any drainage from upstairs, mainly wanting to tidy up the plumbing, along with this there's 4 water waste pipes running along the wall all just going to rainwater gully

Would need to be 3m high plus 2m away from a window minimum
