hello looking for clear picture. got to take out and replace a whb(no service valves) and replace a radiator, the system is running off a combi boiler, if i turn off the water at stopcock and drain taps, then release the pressure at the prv will this allow me to remove the items above. what pressure do i lower the prv to.

Usually all that's needed is to turn the stop valve off and turn the boiler off at the wall and a towel if you want everything totally dry.

Do you know, the penny just dropped and I came back to answer my own question and take the p### out of myself when kirkgas has answered for me! Cheers kirk - you da man.:D

not changing the valves no ?

if you do release the prv then it may not re-seal, judging by your q's replacing a prv would be out of your scope, its rather worrying your doing paid jobs and you dont know how to drain a combi matey least your coming on here to check though

I thought WHB was in reference to a bit on the side.

As in a shriek ... "Wife's Husband Back!!"
