Hi

I need to replace a thermostatic mixer shower, but the surface water pipes are only 3.5 cm apart - I believe they are mainly 150 mm apart nowadays?

I would like to do this with minimal disruption - does anyone know if anyone manufactures a shower with such a clearance? If not, what would be the best solution for replacing the shower (bearing in mind I would like minimal disruption and the pipes aren't easy to get at in the loft!)?

Thanks

It is connected to a shower pump in the airing cupboard - the pump has only recently been replaced. Sorry, don't have a picture, but it is a New Team shower which was installed in the 80s

Do the pipes come down from the ceiling?
As the pump is in the airing cupboard and the pipes are surface mounted. I would adjust the pipes to fit into a set of external pipework elbows. Then fit the shower onto these elbows

Yes, the pipes come down from the ceiling. Thanks, those connectors look very useful, but what would I use from the connectors to the shower as the connections on the shower itself would be much further apart? Could I use flexible pipes, or would this affect water flow?
