Heya,

Have a customer with this old high cistern lead piped secondary vented stuck to the floor loo.
Is it even worth trying to comprehend all this or am I just better leaving it to a period specialist?
Cheers

/have you got room to move pan forwards, fit a tee to connect vent then a pan connector?

Is it really worth doing the job ? You may end up having problems and getting payed peanuts.

Its a school with only one additional loo running into the stack above so I think secondary vent isnt warranted. Thing is looks like I'd have to smash it out as its cemented to the stack then could put standard loo in and shove a flex pan connector on? Then only got a lead supply to deal with..

As said if you can bring the pan forwards fit a tee to take waste and vent, just charge accordingly or estimate for if it goes well or if it all goes bad

Can bring it forward but how would I get a tee in there?

Fit the branch in to the existing socket with the WC connected to the branch and put a reducer in to the top of it then connect to the lead loop vent with 1 1/2" or 2" plastic waste.
How would I fit a branch into that socket? The only time Ive dealt with cast iron was putting rubber timesaver coupling straight to 4" pvc

Same way the pan is fitted, stick a bit of 4" plastic in with plumbers mait to seal it then sand and cement over the top or more plumbers mait

So chip away old cement and cement in a spiggot end? Then do same for the vent?
