Hi.
I have a Ferrol Optimax HE Plus 25S system boiler providing hot water and central heating, with one zone valve controlling each. With TRV's fitted to radiators.
I want to replace my Honeywell T40 room thermostat and Siemens RWB29 programmer.
I want to fit a digital room thermostat. Wired type. T40 is wired 3 core + earth.
There is a problem with the RWB29 display fading, both units about 5/6 years old.

Do digital room thermostats have switching hysteresis similar to electro-mechanical room thermostats.

I'm thinking of fitting a Honeywell ST9400C programmer and a Honeywell DT90E room thermostat.

Any suggestions please.
