Good morning all.

I am thinking of replacing our Gas Boiler with a combi Boiler. This will free up the space in the airing cupboard. Would you recommend this? Is it an expensive job? Many thanks in advance.

Unless it's electric then a combi will also be a gas boiler. There are Too many variables as you've provided us very little detail. You need someone to take a look and quote properly. How many bathrooms do you have? A combi isn't always the answer like some would lead you to believe

Depends on what you call expensive.

Get a few quotes and, most importantly, your flow rate and pressure checked.

And remember that combi's aren't necessarily suitable for all situations.

Thank you Cropper for the quick response. There's 1 bathroom and and a cloak room. Currently its a gas boiler installed in the garage. We have an electric storage heater and an electric Myra shower. Hope this is enogh to go by. Thanks again.

Combi is an option. Need to get your flow and pressure tested

Are we talking about the same things, you say you have a gas boiler but Electric wall heaters & Shower, do you have a hot water tank ? If not what you are describing is possibly a Water heater and not a Boiler , what make is the unit in the garage ?
