Hi

Am in the process of buying a 3 bed house which has warm air heating and will want to have that taken out and central heating installed, probably with a combi boiler.

Have looked on the GSR website for people in that area but am wondering whether I need to find someone who specifically has 'Warm Air' in the list of Domestic Area of Work?

Any advice much appreciated :)

you dont need your gas engineer to be qualified in warm air as long as it is being ripped out, a qualified gas engineer is allowed to cap the supply to the warm air unit, therefore rendering it NOT a gas appliance, he/she can then rip it out, as long as none of the old system is being ultilised for the new system it will be fine
