Reposition of hot water cylinder

I have been and looked at a job yesterday to move the vented cylinder from the bathroom airing cupboard into the loft. I have no issues rerouting all pipework controls etc. I have heard that doing this from previous posts i have read that people have run into a few issues on the way.

Any advice when completing this works. Is there a minimum distance from the base of water tank to horizontal cylinder? Will 450mm be adequate for the vent pipe or should I look to extend this

your going to run into pressure problems never going to work

I understand about pressure problems, would be looking to fit a whole house booster pump. Flow and pressure into this property is very low at the minute so an invented system is out of the window.

the 450mm relates to the minimum horizontal run when coming off the draw off on cylinder
Is the tank on stilts ? doesn't sound possible if it isn't, maybe consider a combi cylinder instead or raise tank if you have the height to do so

Don't forget to factor in the extra support required for the weight of the cylinder assuming you can raise the cwsc high enough ....regards Turnpin

Why not an unvented in the loft if flow/pressure allows

As above, could fit a horizontal tank if space is limited.
