Hi guys have a riello burner with oil leak, traced leak to pump adjustment screw not the nut but actual screw.
Is there a repair kit for this?Boiler is coming out in a couple of months in exchange for woodburner. Its only a small leak but smells quite strong would like to help customer .Thanks.

hi brum part you require is available from hwos part no 3008651 cost 2.20 obviously you will have to set up burner again using gauge and fga if you have a new pump maybe you could borrow from this until new adjuster at hand

Thanks for you reply haven't got gauges yet fga away for calibration could this be temp set up without? ie so many turns in..thanks

To make temp repair im thinking of making milliput or araldite patch, this would work on water maybe on oil if it was totally dried off.Like I said boiler is getting scrapped in a couple of months.
What are your thoughts on this?

id be with roger on this too risky imho it would be guess work underaired high co overaired high co

If you have no gear then best to leave alone for now. Is the boiler in the house or external?

You have no pressure gauge and your analyser is off for repair? Use your smoke pump then, put the new valve on, check for smoke, adjust carefully until you get grade 1, then back off until you dont. Old fashioned but simples.

If its the pressure screw there is an o ring you need to replace.
