had a minor 5 mph bump last year, the b==== i hit claimed wiplash(5mph) and called the thieves (police) just got a letter awareness course etc £165 please loss of earnings for a day and only a fortnights notice talk about exploiting motorists if i dont go they will take me to court wish i knew who to complain to😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

dont complain, go to court, do you have any witnesses, or does he?

can you get a 'witness'

did you photograph the damage?

what do your insurers say?

Had that myself a while ago asking me to attend a "driver awareness course"",and whats more you have to pay to go on it.I wrote them a letter stating that i would be willing to go if it was free, but i wouldnt be paying for it.I didnt go on the course in the end and never heard from them again.Another money making scam......

in all fairness you did crash into him. unlawfully claiming for whiplash though is just pure rude.
is your insurance going to cover the damage? have you protected your ncb?
the mrs bumped her car recently and its going to cost 400 quid plus to put right , contacted the insurance who told her her premium would go up by 600 quid if she claimed , even though she hasn't had a ncb since the day she opened the policy with them , 7 years ago. every year she enquires about why she isn't getting a discount and every year they come out with some other bull sht excuse. makes you wonder what the point in having any insurance is in the first place , third partys take full advantage and its not worth your while claiming for your own damages.
if it wasn't necessary by law id certainly consider taking my chances.

i had protected ncd but only 3rd party f+f so my premium wont go up but my car wont get fixed, her car had a new bumper one week later, insurance say its cheaper to pay out for wiplash as they cant disprove it,is there any way out of this course nonsense?

keep your distance🙄

cant be too saintly though, drove past a speed camera van on thursday at 60 in a 50 zone😱, its only 3 months since all my points dropped off the licence!, seems the devon and cornwall constabulary are looking for more cash.😡

ask a solicitor what will happen if you dont do the course and go to court, it might be a fine but it might be the cheaper alternative.
