room stat or programmer

calling for heat on a open vent indirect heating system,gravity hot water ,pumped heating,when the punter calls for heat by the room stat she gets nothing, but at 2 in the morning the heating will fire up the clock is set correctly and the programmer is set to come on at 6 o'clock,i'm thinking faulty room stat any idea's.

could the clock be mis readig the time ? carnt think of a reason why it would be the stat

the room stat is turned right up a nd according to the punter it's jammed. i should av mention this shouldn't i

you could try linking out the stat mebe ?

If its jammed then I would be replacing the stat anyway and testing to see if the heating came on when timer was in manual.

i agree swap the stat it's the cheapest option
