Hi there, This is my first post, (retired plumber).
My daughter has bought a house and the engineer says that one room must have a stat. fitted with no thermostatic valve to comply with regs. Does this means that the boiler is under the control of this one room no matter what the other room temps. are. Part J in Scotland
This is how small bore used to be fitted in the 60's and70's before thermostatic rad valves came along.
If in the lounge, where someone may have a nice log burner fitted or a coal fire the room is cosy but the rest of the house is cold.
Can someone set me straight. Jim :sweatdrop:
