Hi guys hope someone can help me here. I have just fitted a new central heating system in a house at a friend of my fathers, i fitted a programmable room stat in the hall but as the lady is 96 years old she has very bad sight and therefore cant see the buttons or the display. I have had a look online for a voice activated stat but the only one i can seem to find is called KELVIN Voice Interactive Thermostat but the trouble with that is it is from america so the voltage is going to be different. has anyone ever come over this before or can anyone tell me where i can get such a device from the UK

hope someone can helppppppppppp

cheers guys:mad:

is it a combi
if so keep it simple for her and have the heating controlled by thermostat and put 2 ridges on the one for 20deg mark and other on the body that way she can turn heating on and off by the stat by touch and adj hot water temp to suit
if a reg system then again have controller set to have heating on and only controlled by thermosat and water say twice a day as i cant see her being a big hot water user
